With the support of specially funded programming, HIAS Chicago holds regularly scheduled citizenship application workshops at various community-based locations throughout the north and northwest suburbs. HIAS Chicago’s professional staff assess potential applicants’ eligibility and screen for legal red flags. Trained community volunteers assist eligible applicants to complete the necessary documents for citizenship application. The agency provides support throughout the citizenship application process.
