HIAS Chicago Citizenship Classes Offered

HIAS Chicago invites you to our Citizenship Classes to help you prepare for your citizenship interview and exam. 

Classes are taught in English by volunteer teachers.

HIAS Chicago Scholarships

Thank you for your interest in the HIAS Chicago College Scholarship Program. The 2018 scholarship application period is now closed. Please check back in the fall for updates on our 2019 awards.


Scholarships are offered in the following categories:

HIAS Chicago Undergraduate Scholarships 

Awarded to high school seniors beginning post-secondary education on a full time basis, or college students continuing in undergraduate or technical study.  

HIAS Chicago Graduate Scholarships

Awarded to students enrolling in or continuing enrollment in a graduate level educational program.

HIAS Chicago Benton Bernstein Scholarships

Awarded to students enrolling in or continuing in a course of professional study in one of the helping professions such as medicine, social work or psychology.  

HIAS Chicago Purdue Scholars Award

Awarded to an undergrdate or graduate student enrolling or continuing enrollment in Purdue University.
